I will never get sick of shooting Kayla. Her energy is astounding and so motivating

Besides being naturally beautiful, she's mesmerizing to watch as she dances.

I'm so blessed to be able to work with her as if we've been friends for years.

I will tell you time and time again that I have a love for water. I say love, it's probably more of an obsession.

I found the most stunning model for this shoot. I contacted her before I even looked at her portfolio because she was what I was looking for.

She has very long curly hair that just begs for attention and her bone structure looks flawless when her hair is wet behind her.

By far my favorite from the shoot.

As it's Tennessee, the lake was well heated so we just got to shoot, the only obstacle was the murky ground that would arise with any movement.

I'm so excited to add this shoot to my series! What a terrific model, I can't wait to work with her again!

I love the innocence of children in non innocent scenarios. I saw this idea used by an adult model, but I used my 4 year old nephew instead for more imagination. Kids are still learning and still have such a wide imagination which I love!
I have such a love for nature even if I am from the electronic age. I could get lost and watch the clouds move above me for hours.
I do my editing in front of my bedroom window, unintentionally, but I often times find myself looking out it for some relief from my computer screen.
So, I was supposed to be in Wisconsin this past week but since I take the MegaBus and it left 10 minutes early, I missed it! So, instead, I spent the week in Chattanooga with my parents, sister, nephew, and my grandparents were in town to visit too!! So, other than all that crap, I did get to enjoy some great company.

I was finally able to get Braxton's Easter/Spring pictures done for the year!! I'm excited to share some of my sneak peeks with you guys, though!
We did 'indoor photo shoot' one day for a more of a studio kind of look and mostly because I think we did it after his nap and it wasn't all the nice outside.
How cute are these pictures? All kinds of eggs and spring time is in the air! Literally!! =)
A little sneak peek of our outdoor shoot!! I'm going to have to try and save some of these for when it's closer to Easter though. =) This park was really awesome though and can't wait to try and get more pictures here!
"Blowing Wishes"
My photography crew for that day. We like to bring my mom along for two reasons..1. She knows more of where she's going and 2. since Braxton is so used to being around Kelsi, having Grandma there helps him focus and get some cute pictures!

I think that's the biggest challenges..Braxton probably does do better with a photographer he's not all that used to because it's something and someone new! But then again, he still does so good with me..it's a toss up, I guess.

Stay tuned for more Spring and Easter pictures, though! :)
So, even though Braxton's birthday was about a month ago, being in school, it's hard to get to Chattanooga every weekend. But better late than never, we got his pictures done!! I think they turned out so cute and even though he's not the most cooperative..we tried! =)

Still can't believe it was 2 years ago that this little turkey was born. I can't say he's a mommy's boy or a daddy's boy because it just depends on his mood and what's going on..but I guess he's mostly a mommy's boy. =) Can't blame him there! =P

But let's be honest here, Braxton is a "Aunt Becki's boy" too. He adores spending and playing with Aunt Becki. :) There's nothing sweeter than seeing the two of them together.
Braxton is obsessed with any "rescue vehicle". He loves 'daddy's trucks' which are the ambulances, police cars and firetrucks. He will point them out every time and get so excited if he hears the sirens coming!!

Even though, he can get crabby and irritable but he really is a joy to be around. He's a sweet little boy and life wouldn't be the same without him.

Love you always, Braxton Owen!
Braxton Owen turned 2 on Saturday the 8th! =) We celebrated his birthday the week before because his daddy had to work on his birthday. (he's an Paramedic). His theme was "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" which is on Disney Jr. We had a little "photobooth" set up that turned out great and was so much fun!!

How cute did they turn out? Obviously, the little boy is the birthday boy! His smile is such a cheesy smile but at this moment in his life, that's the smile he's always using! haha! Everyone had a great time at the party and "lil B" made out pretty good with all his presents too!

If you're interested in a photobooth, let me know!! =) We all had a fun time with it and I think you all would too!!

Krisoijn's 2-year photoshoot and family photoshoot! It was a fun time at the Chattanooga Choo Choo with the trains (his absolute favorite)! It was a bit chilly but we made the best of it as much as we could!
                                   One of this sweet family!
It wasn't exactly easy to get Krisoijn to smile so I was really excited about this big ole smile from him!
But what a cute little boy, he is! He wasn't quite sure of the whole photography thing at first, but he definitely came around. :) It was a fun shoot with a goofy, cute little boy!! :) Thank you, Chris, Lorraine, and Krisoijn for a fun afternoon!!

So, my first 'paid' photoshoot was of the Coppinger Family. Renee contacted me after her photographer fell through and so, our adventure began. :) It was a blast to capture memories for a wonderful family!
Grandparents' love isn't fake-it's one of the truest things you'll ever see and experience.
Cayden was definitely the star of this photoshoot. He was all about it and is a TOTAL ladies man! Cute little booger too! :)
Paisley, as any little girl, was pretty shy throughout the shoot but we ended getting a couple cute ones of her. :) This family was just a blast to be with and to shoot.
Love these sweet kids! <3 Until next time..
